AUDIO DESCRIPTION SERVICES
We work to make live or recorded dance, theater, and performance accessible to Blind and Visually Impaired patrons through the art of language. By describing the visual elements of a performance, someone who has limited or no sight can get all of the benefits and joy of a live performance.

Live and Recorded Audio Description Services
painting a picture with language through engaging descriptions of the meaningful visual details of a performance that would otherwise be inaccessible to audience members with visual impairments.

Site Visits
One live preview of the show or event.

Pre-Show Haptic Access Tours
a 20 minute live pre-show tour that allows blind patrons to haptically (through touch, their own movement, hearing and kinesthetic senses) experience the space, performers, costumes and objects.

Accessibility consulting
Advise and assist artists, organizations, venues and events on best practices for blind accessibility. This includes organizational disability readiness, respectful language and courteous hosting practices.
Rates:
Audioesque Audio Description is $1,000 per event.

For this rate your organization will receive:
Attendance at one preview of the work to be described
One hour of consultation with the primary artist or their representative to address description strategies and
Haptic Access Tour content: Construction and Presentation of a 20-minute Haptic Access Tour
Live Description of on performance (This price is for events lasting up to 90 minutes, additional time billed at $100/hr)
